Have a look at In the Steps of Don Quixote In February 2006 Gerry and Eileen saw an advert for a Cornish Bakery and decided that they would like to open one in the area. Over the next few months they travelled many kilometers checking out the Bakeries already open. At the time there were two different competitors. They tested and gave their friends to test, many varieties of pasties and pies but the only one for them was the Crantock Bakery ones. Crantock Bakery make the only original shortcrust pastry pasty sold by Bakeries in Spain and Gerry being part Cornish himself said that if they were going to sell pasties they had to be first class quality, have cornish ingredients but more importantly be made of traditional shortcrust pastry. And so the Cornish Bakery in Turre was born ! Since then they have expanded their entire range to include other pies and pasties plus german cakes and bread. Always looking for the best quality products available.
